Vass so far
I have now been in Vass for the last 6 weeks and everything is going really well.. On the wind front we have had some mental days, of 4.2 full power, there have also been some really late sessions after work where i have been out on the water until 9:30 making the most of the wind which was left!| 98, 2012 Rodeo |

Dahab, 2 weeks this time not 9 months!!
However hard I tried I just couldn't stay away!!
Apart from today the forecast is looking amazing!! Especially for the Dahab festival competition tomorrow where it is looking like it will blow a good 30+ knots all day. Windguru: Dahab
With any luck I will get to sail some of the other spots out here in these 2 weeks, such as places like Secret Spot and Blue Lagoon.

Club Vass
So its official, this year I am going to be working for Club Vass in Greece!!!
I cant wait for the summer to start and the wind to arrive as there has been very little in the UK since I have been here!! With the windsurfing standard out there being so high, i hope to improve some more!!

La Plagne
Long time no update, the reason for that is that I have hardly been
out on the water since I left Dahab on the 16th of December.
Last week I decided to have a play on the
frozen water in La Plagne.
Before I went to La Plagne I had only done 3 hours of
boarding before, so on the first day it was a steep learning curve. However by
the end of the week I was going down blacks, up right rather than an on my
arse, and I was also going off piste a lot of the time.
With any luck by the end of this week I will have a job in
the mountains so that I will get to practice the snowboarding even more, with
the hope that I will be in the park by the end.

The Past Month
I finished working for Neilson on the 27th November
and didn’t leave the country till the 16th of December so got
another 3 weeks to get out on the water and make the most of the conditions. I
had some amazing wind to make the most of with getting out on a 5 or less every
day bar 2 days when it was dead.
Thanks to Phil Richards and his advice I started to go for
some new moves in the last 3 weeks such as Culo’s, regular Konos and switch
konos. They all went pretty well; I landed a switch kono on my last day and got
closer to the other moves towards the end.
Since getting back to the UK there hasn’t been that much wind
until this week, and it is going to go mental. I am planning on heading to West
Wittering for a session in the Trench with Jamie Drummond and Ollie Acton.
I have currently got some kit for sale:
2010 Mistral Joker 98.
2010 RRD Hardcore Wave 70
2010 Simmer Mission X 3.7
Aeron 29mm 140-190
If you are interested in anything or want pictures of the
kit then feel free to get in touch.
Thanks to Phil and Danielle at getwindsurfing who did the photos for me.
